Good, no frills, budget dryer
Really good dryer. It has a variety of settings and seems to work really well. I’ve been throwing a few spools in there over the past few weeks that needed drying and after a 4-8 hour dry the PLA worked great after. No popping anymore, better adhesion and print quality. Overall it just made the filament perform well. Obviously this doesn’t help much if the filament doesn’t need dried, but when it does, this thing works great. I will say I had issues printing directly from it, but that’s likely more of a “I don’t want to tinker that much” problem on my end and not the dryer. Overall I’d recommend it for sure.

Smooth, strong, and stunning
Loaded this filament into the K1C and ran it at 300mm/s—no clogs, no stringing, just clean extrusion and crisp layer bonding. The color transitions are smooth and vivid, especially on larger prints. The spool is neatly wound, vacuum-sealed with desiccant, and the filament diameter stays consistent at ±0.03mm. It’s got enhanced toughness compared to standard PLA, so prints feel more durable without sacrificing detail. Works great with both direct drive and Bowden setups, and it’s compatible with most FDM printers.

Awesome
Colors are great and the transition time between them is also great compared to many others that take awhile to transition to another color. Makes prints look really different and great.

It does a good job, but needs modding
It gets warm and takes the moisture out of my filaments. So far, I’ve tested PETG, PLA (and it’s variants) and TPU, and all of them were nice and dry after some time. The good: it’s quiet, it doesn’t heat up the entire room, the screen is pretty nice and the bearings at the bottom mean that the spools move nice and smooth. The not so good: the rubber plug for the PTFE tube. Why? It’s just a genuinely awful design for what should be a fitting and a nut. I had to buy my own fitting and drill a hole to 3/8th’s to make it fit. DUMB.45C for a minimum temp is kind of a bummer. 30 would be awesome so I could run just the fan, but the software doesn’t let me.There is no factory spot for desiccant. No, really. A dryer box without a spot for desiccant. Of course one can be printed (already did), but it should at least have a QR code linking to one. There are plenty of options on the Creality Cloud, but there’s no excuse to not have this be correct! The tiny tiny hole for moisture to escape is just too small. Also on CC are stl’s that leave the lid propped open a tiny amount.Since I’ve gotten this, it’s performed well, and my print quality has been outstanding. It does a good job at what it’s designed to do, but some questionable design choices keep it from being a 5 star review. There are other, cheaper options out there, but the aesthetics matching my K1 SE was important.

Stunning 3D Printed Decor with Creality PLA Plus Filament
I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Creality PLA Plus Filament after using it for a 9-hour print session. The 1.75mm rainbow filament flowed smoothly with no tangles, and it worked flawlessly with my extruder, producing vibrant, detailed results. The ±0.03mm dimensional accuracy is spot-on, making it perfect for intricate designs like the vase and flowers I created (shown in the photo). The upgraded toughness held up well, and the colors blend beautifully. My only minor gripe is that it requires careful storage to avoid moisture, but that’s standard for PLA. For anyone into 3D printing, this filament offers great value and reliability for both functional and decorative projects.

Fantastic little filament dryer
Over 300 hours of use and still cooking! Absolutely makes a crazy difference in all quality aspects of the printing process.Super easy to set up and use, and very great at what it does. Haven’t used it for direct feeding, but have heard it works for that as well. The noise reviews are on point, and you do know this thing is running. In the room next door. With the door shut.10/10 for effectiveness, and ability to remind me constantly that it’s still working.

Misleading photo and slow gradient change
The photo of this is EXTREMELY misleading. The model shown is shiney, as if this would be a silk/metallic finish but it’s flat/matte instead. No where in the title or description is the mentioned.I kept the filament because I could still use it, but this really screwed me over. The second issue is how long it takes for the gradient/color to change. It’s somewhere in the range of 30g of filament – which means you have to create a 60 – 80g model to get just 2 color changes. I was trying to print things that are in the 20g range, so I had to start printing in bulk to get even something remotely “rainbow”.The filament prints well, but it lifts easier than other filaments I’ve printed with so I’ve had a lot of failed prints – it seems like nothing I do with adjusting bed temp, nozzle temp, or speed can ensure a better print.. but higher bed temp and REALLY slow speed helped.

Prints reliably, nice translucent color, no defects or tangles
I wanted a translucent blue and this was an affordable choice. I print PETG either for its slightly higher heat tolerance (mostly black) or for the translucent colors and shine. I’m price conscious and this fit my color and cost requirements. I always dry my filaments out of package and store spools with desiccant. I print PETG fairly slow on a PEI bed using a 0.4 mm nozzle to avoid adhesion issues, stringing etc. I don’t really tax it and it has been consistent and reliable so far.

I’ve been using Creality ABS filament for my 3D printing projects, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The filament extrudes smoothly and consistently, resulting in high-quality prints with excellent layer adhesion. The ABS material is robust and durable, making it perfect for functional prototypes and mechanical parts. One of the standout features of this filament is its minimal warping, even on larger prints. This has saved me countless hours of frustration during the printing process. Additionally, the filament’s vibrant colors add a professional touch to my creations, making them stand out.Furthermore, I appreciate Creality’s attention to detail in their filament manufacturing. Each spool is tightly wound and vacuum-sealed, ensuring optimal filament quality and preventing moisture absorption. This level of care translates to reliable and consistent printing results.Overall, I highly recommend Creality ABS filament to anyone looking for high-quality printing material. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, you can trust Creality to deliver outstanding performance and reliability for all your 3D printing needs.
