Omg these things are so cold, it hurts to touch them!
I recently took my full size refrigerator out of my business, but still wanted to get my Amazon fresh groceries delivered at work, since my home isn’t in the delivery range. That also means the food is already thawing for an hour before it gets delivered. So, I needed better cooler bags and reusable ice packs that could stay cold for 10 hours before getting the food delivered, and then hold up for another few hours before getting the food home (another 3-4 hours, so the ice stayed mostly frozen for almost 14 hours in these bags).I bought these ice packs after reviewing every product on Amazon, and I got the Titan insulated bags.I avoided ordering things like ice cream or frozen waffles, because I’ve noticed those don’t arrive frozen by the time they deliver the groceries. I mainly ordered frozen meals, mini pizzas and refrigerated stuff. The food was still frozen when I got home! The only thing that thawed were some frozen french toast sticks (I took stuff like that out of their boxes because I figured it would help keep them cold better if they had direct contact to the ice). The refrigerated stuff was plenty cold still too. These ice packs get so cold that it almost burns your hand to touch them. They stay cold for a lot longer than my thin blue ice packs of various brands. They freeze in a nice thin shape, seem to have excellent build quality, and are a great size. I wanted more small ice packs rather than one large one so I could make sure all of the food had ice on almost all sides of it. They actually weigh quiet a bit, which is probably why they can stay frozen longer than the cheaper ice packs that I have. I was really hesitant at first to get these because of the cost, and having to fill them with water myself, but I am so happy that I did! They were easy to set up and do a great job. We actually have power outages pretty regularly and I feel more confident that my frozen food will stay frozen longer with these in the freezer. When you are squeezing the air out of the pouch, after adding water, you can see the material inside the pouch is a light blue color. After it sets for a few minutes it becomes gel inside. So far only the edges thaw out after 14 hours of use. And it does seem to help if they have a full 24 hours to re-freze after use (as opposed to 12).

Worth your literal money!
I bought these because my fiance and I needed to start bringing lunch into work as good prices are just getting ridiculous to eat out. So, I bought the cooler pack and the lunchbox pack. These packs are amazing!Differences in use. I work in an office with limited fridge space and my fiance is someone who works outside a lot so a fridge isn’t always available. So, saying this!!! The cooler packs are his, they keep his food cold for at LEAST 10 hours. By the time he is home his lunchbox isn’t warm inside but it isnt as cold, but keep in mind he leaves his lunchbox in a hot car. I’m sure in the winter it’ll be MUCH better, but it keeps his food cold for when it’s time to eat and that’s all that matters. Which he doesn’t leave the lunchbox inside his hot car, the lunchbox is still very much cold when he brings it home.My experience with my lunchbox pack, again. My situation is different. I am inside a building where there’s AC in the summer and heat in the winter. Pampered over here. So my lunchbox sits on my desk and I take my food out as I want it throughout the day. I USUALLY have a breakfast yogurt, a energy coffee drink and a protein shake. Sometimes I have veggies and fruits and hummus as well. The ice packs, I use all five, freeze my protein shake LOL! Sometimes my yogurt. I can put something in there that’s warm and by the time I want it, it’s COLD. My lunchbox feels like a literal fridge sometimes a freezer. Idk if it’s the combination of the ice packs and the lunchbox, but I am VERY satisfied.

For the people in the back…. These cannot be emptied when not in use.
So… I didn’t realize these ice packs worked the way they do. I THOUGHT this was a reusable pouch that I could fill with water, freeze, use to keep items cold and then empty out the water and store flat until I needed it again. We were having a scheduled power outage and I thought ice would help keep the fridge cooler longer while the power was temporarily out. Since this is the second scheduled outage recently, I thought buying a pack I could store flat in a drawer would be ideal since freezer space is at a premium. I already have two hard plastic ice packs that take up room. The arrived the day of the outage, leaving me with not much time to fill up and freeze one. Worked great in tandem with the other plastic ice packs. Fridge stayed cool enough. We haven’t noticed any spoilage of fridge contents. (This pack wouldn’t stand up, so I actually placed one of the hard plastic packs in between two gallons of milk which I think was key.)Today, I go to empty out the pack, so I could store it flat. I squeeze out a little of the gel thinking it was just a frosty cork, and only then did I realize what was going on.I showed a friend the pack and asked how they thought it worked, and they too thought it was a water-in-water-out situation.I’m now thinking I ruined the pack. I didn’t measure the water. I didn’t release air bubbles. I didn’t shake it. I didn’t install the cork. Its a bit rounded with how I filled it. And didn’t have the room to freeze it perfectly flat. I guess I know for the next two, should I ever use them. At this point, I’m hoping this thing can live outside my freezer and that it doesn’t ruin the functionality of the gel because it takes up a lot of space and I don’t need giant ice packs regularly. I wish I had ordered the smaller version as I’d get more use out of those for trips to the grocery store, etc. I don’t even have room to freeze 3 of these things at once. So, don’t “just add water” like I did. There’s rules for this thing. Also, instructions say to freeze the packs 24-48 hours before use, so this isn’t a last minute solution (like ice) either.I’ll have to do a real test, but I’m not sure they performed better than the hard-plastic packs I already had. I prefer the usability (flat, standup, lay down) of those, but if these Cooler Shock bags do stay cooler longer, than thats obviously an important feature.Anyway, works great, I guess. I agree its less of a watery mess than 6lbs of ice and lasts longer, but its a solid, slick block. Unlike ice, you cant nest things into it, like cans or bottles. I imagine it would take longer than ice to cool any items that aren’t already cold due to potentially limited contact. I see some people use these packs to keep the ice in their coolers cold, which is pretty funny. Oddly, that makes sense!

It works exceptionally, I am really happy for my purchase. I tried to find the best cost/effectiveness and this was the result, it made me discover that the lunch bags we have has bad insulation. They are exceptionally cold for a minimum of 12 hours (in bad insulation) so I’m excited to use these in coolers for summer camping. Thank you so much for making a great product that’s also fun to make! No regrets for this purchase.
