Good paper for drawing, sketching and painting
I’m in love with these ARTISTO Premium Mixed Media Sketchbooks: Pack of 2. You get lots of acid-free, 160 gsm paper, and it’s smooth, so think cold press.I found the quality to be good – I used watercolor paints, colored pencils, watercolor pencils and graphite pencils on it, and I was very happy. They all worked quite well on it, although keep in mind this is thinner than 300 gsm watercolor paper, so you may want to tape the edges down if you’re worried about the paper curling for wet on wet. Also if you use alcohol markers on it, and you use them heavily, you may get some blded through the paper, but that’s just normal at this paper thickness.I love just a hint of tooth for drawing and coloring, and that’s exactly what I found with this paper. It’s not smooth like Bristol but is much closer to cold press. Overall, it’s a perfect compromise for mixed media paper.In case you can’t tell, I’m super happy with this paper. I like drawing, sketching, painting and coloring on it, and it’s acid-free, so it won’t brown over time or change the colors of your media. I used a mix of artist quality watercolors and colored pencils and student and craft versions, and everything felt good on this paper and had good results. Please note: some people prefer sketch paper with more tooth, but since I don’t, I’m more than satisfied to use this for all sorts of work. Add in that nice, low price for acid-free mixed media paper, and I’ll be buying more of this.

Nice with minimal bleed
Great paper and a great price. Bleed through is really minimal with alcohol markers and only on a dark colored section of a picture. I would buy it again if I needed more now but I’m good for the time being

I am new to acrylic and like this paper. It does need a layer of white or gasso first otherwise it will soak up the paint. For the price point and size, I’m more than happy with it.
