High quality adjustable dumbbells
I bought two of these dumbbells so I would have a set. I was looking for something that went from 5 to 25 lb and was pleased when I saw that Amazon basics had an offering. The product is very well constructed, just a twist of the grip changes the weight from 5 10 15 20 25 lbs easily. As with any of these adjustable weights there is a little bit of a learning curve in how to put the weight back onto the rack so that it goes in smoothly. Once you get the hang of it this is one of the better ones that I’ve used and I’ve had a couple of different sets over the years.The grips are comfortable and not too small or large with a nice flare in the middle. The weights are not noisy and have a satisfying click when you are adjusting them. The provided storage trays are thick plastic and seem like they will hold up. They even have nice areas where your fingers can grip them if you need to pick them up and relocate.Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and the value for the money I spent as it takes up a lot less space for the same price as a set of traditional weights.

Compact, sturdy, and super convenient!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this adjustable dumbbell totally overdelivered. First off, it’s like the Swiss Army knife of weights, flip a switch, and boom, new weight. No more juggling a tower of mismatched dumbbells or tripping over iron chunks in the living room. This thing keeps it sleek. The grip feels solid, the twist mechanism is smooth like butter, and switching weights mid-workout makes me feel like a tech-savvy gym wizard. Also, major respect for the no-drop safety feature. I like my toes intact, thanks. But here’s the one thing that bugs me, the handle is a bit chunky and not the most ergonomic.

Compact adjustable dumbbell to up your game
I’m very pleased with the functionality of this dumbbell. It easily and quickly adjusts from 25 lbs down to 5 lbs in increments of 5 simply by turning the handle while it is placed in the dock. The weights slide off the handle smoothly and it is easy to line it all back up again to re-dock the weight.The handle is smooth and offers a good grip. I’m an adult female and I find that the handle is “skinny” enough to be very comfortable in my hand while providing a firm grip. The material itself is a bit grippy too.What I like most about this is that I can change the weight of this one product instead of needing to have an entire set sitting next to me. This allows me a lot of versatility in my workout for changing it up. Overall, a smart design and a very nice weight set. I love it and so does the man of the house who also uses this. He said he’d also give five stars for the design and functionality of this product too.

Great value adjustable weight dumbbells
This Amazon basics adjustable 25lb weight dumbbell is pretty nice. The body and handle have all plastic touch points and the weights are metals plates that get added on and off with the twist of the handle. It’s bit hard to see the numbers in the plastic handle so I may add some whiteout to the numbers to help them stand out. The grip is thick and feels comfortable. Sometimes it’s a bit touch to line up the dumbbell in the plastic tray holder in order to twist the handle to select the next weight setting but you get used to its alignment over time. The weight plates are free floating in the base when the aren’t used and you just need to come in at the right angle so that the plates line up with their slot. Overall it’s a good value and I ended up ordering a second one because I enjoyed it so much.

A Terrible Shopping Experience
I’m extremely disappointed with this product. Not only was it poorly made, but the plate actually fell off and landed on my foot, causing pain and bruising. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of the item. A product should never put the customer at risk of injury.

Sleek, minimal, saves time and space
Sleek design and easy, functional, variable weight grip that makes keeping your at home or gym workout moving along. When I’m not able to hit the gym or just want to get an arm workout going in between tasks or studying, this dumbbell will save you time and space. I like not having to have four different sets of weights racked somewhere in my small apartment and drag them all out. The holding base has convenient finger holes for two hand lifting. The shift between weights is smooth and quiet. You really have to make sure the plate holding mechanism is aligned correctly, the plastic base holder ensures that when you set it down. The plates themselves detach so you can do other things with them. The design is modern and minimal which I like – the warning labels on the top are ugly, wish they were on the bottom of the holder. But I understand visibility was important. Overall two pack of these for $100ish bucks is competitively priced and worth it, they are well made.
