Bright and powerful
Nice and Bright, very versatile! This unit is very nice for having on camping trips or just as a backup for a power outage. The Lithium battery stays charged for a few months and is perfect to have as a backup in the car or house.Plus the unit can also charge over devices as a power bank.

Easy to carry and bright
Perfect size for my teensy trailer. It seems a little flimsy as it broke when dropped it, but my cell phone broke when I dropped it too so there is that! This is now a staple in my trailer for camping season.

I had a lantern similar to this one from years ago, except that one was solely a lantern, powered by 3 AA batteries. These lanterns are pretty decent; they turn off when you retract the light (therefore protecting it) and turn on when you pull it out.For this specific lantern, It’s very lightweight, very bright (3 racks of 4 bright LEDs that gave me afterimages in my eyes as I counted them) arranged in a triangular layout. The handles fold down into recessed parts of the body. The crank is on the bottom and there is a small bright single bulb flashlight there too (directional light for reading in a tent I’m guessing, but could be used as a very bulky flashlight in a pinch).The top of the lantern has a solar charger panel and there is also a USB port to use the lantern as a power bank. The lantern also has a micro USB port on the bottom (and comes with a cable) to charge it.All being said, this is pretty good. I don’t know how long the battery lasts, but it’s a very lightweight power pack/flashlight/lantern that can be charged via crank/solar/USB to charge its integral battery.The only improvement I could really think of, is maybe a model (if it doesn’t already exist) that has a module that allows installaion of 3 AAs and maybe a compartment to store spare batteries/the USB cable.Otherwise this is pretty good so far, can’t wait to try it out camping post pandemic.

As a person who believes strongly in emergency preparedness I am always looking for something new/improved to add to my emergency preparedness kit.My early experience with this solar hand crank camping lantern has shown it to be just such an addition. It is a lantern, a flashlight and has the capacity to charge your phone which could be critical in an emergency.The lantern can be charged with a USB, solar power or by using the attached hand crank. The unit is lightweight yet very sturdy. Due to it’s collapsible design it is very compact and easy to pack and carry. Unlike many lanterns on the market the battery is built in. Regardless of the situation you find yourself in your lantern will be operational due to the varied charging options available.As an added bonus the lantern comes with an 18 months extended warranty.An invaluable asset for any outdoor activity or daily use around the home.

Arrived in time, and in tact. Physical attributes match the Amazon description: Comes with a charging cord that plugs into USB, hand crank works, solar panel works, handles fold in when not in use. The lantern is VERY bright (could play a card game in the dark using this lantern) and the flashlight is brighter than expected based on the size of it. I have not tested the waterproofing. I am only giving 4 stars because the lantern and flashlight each only lasted 3 hours when left on (separately, not on at the same time) after fully charging the unit (I have notified the seller). Will still use this device as it seems like a handy lantern for camping and 3 hours is adequate considering how bright the lantern is but I am a bit disappointed it doesn’t last the 30+hours as described.

This product is really useful to have during power outages or if you were to go camping. It is very lightweight and small to carry around. The solar panel is really great which charges fast and the hand crank option is great during emergencies if you are unable to charge it any other way. The light is fairly bright and the usb outlet adds another useful feature to the product. It is also very easy to use, no instructions needed. I would definitely recommend this product.
