It’s very light weight, very thin. I got it for a costume. I’d say If you’re putting lighter things inside like a few shirts it will hold up. Probably not with school textbooks though.

Good light-duty backpack
I have been using a small lightweight backpack as a purse for a while and have replaced them with a variety of brands. This one will serve the purpose just as well as the others. The photos online are blurry, so I’ve included a few here for better views. The bag seems sewn well enough for a light duty bag (this would not hold heavy school books). The seams are bound to prevent fraying of the edges, there is an inside pouch with a zipper and a light fabric pocket, the zippers slide easily, and the bag is symmetrical. The fabric resembles reinforced nylon, but it might just be the pattern. Either way, it is smooth and without the backing on the inside that other bags have that peels off over time. So it will be nice to enjoy this bag without the flakes from the inside peeling backing that other bags produced. The fabric design is also partly shiny, but better than completely, so I don’t mind too much. It is a small bag, not appropriate for the typical school books use, but fine for a small child’s kindergarten day, or an adult’s light duty (drink and a snack while hiking, or a catch all tote bag or purse as I use it). I’m not a fan of large brand name labeling on products, so the big white heat applied name label on the outside pocket diminishes the appearance for me. Overall, a solid 4-star rating because it is as described, and has a few finishing touches (like the seam binding and better-quality fabric without a coated backing) that will extend the life of this product vs. those without the binding and/or having coated fabric).

Perfect for travel
Convenient lightweight backpack. Can be used for everything. What I like the most is that since it is so lightweight, I can shove it into another bag to have it available in case I need an additional bag.

Handy folding backpack (that failed quickly)
This is a super neat compact backpack!! It expands into a regular size backpack but can be folded into itself and packed into another bag when not in use. The convertible design alone is absolutely fantastic. The tradeoff is that the material is very thin and the zippers are very light and are easy to get stuck. For occasional light use this is a great choice!Update: I took this bag on vacation to a theme park where it saw frequent use. I am sad to report that the zipper on the main compartment failed on the fourth day of the trip. While I initially noted that this product was built to a light-duty standard, I am disappointed that the product failed so quickly. As a result I have lowered my overall rating.
